There is hereby established in the unclassified service of the City, the position of Accountant in the Department of Finance. Under general supervision, the Accountant shall prepare and record transactions, maintain accounting journals and systems, prepare reports and analyses, reconcile accounts, maintain accounting records, and perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Finance.
