(a) Charges are hereby established for waste collection, in the city:
(1) Each single-family unit. Fees are established as set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. The amount of the fees shall be as set by ordinance from time to time.
(2) Each multi-family unit and for each trailer. Fees are established as set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. The amount of the fees shall be as set by ordinance from time to time.
(3) Each industrial and commercial establishment. Fees are established as set forth in the fee schedule in Part One - Title Eleven, Chapter 205 of these codified ordinances. The amount of the fees shall be as set by ordinance from time to time. If the total weekly collection from any establishment is four cans or less, application may be made to the city for a reduction of charge to the current rate then in effect for single- and multi-family residential customers. If the average weekly collection is more than ten cans, dumpsters are required.

(b) The waste collection charge hereby established shall be shown on the monthly water bills and shall be collected with the water and sewer charges. Any residential, industrial or commercial establishment desiring to privately contract for waste collection may do so provided the City Manager is furnished proof of agreement with a waste collection service to have the waste removed in covered trucks at a frequency which is the same as that of the city’s waste collection.
