GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 93.01 DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION.
   (A)   The City Department of Parks and Recreation is established in accordance with I.C. 36-10-3-1 et seq.
   (B)   The Department of Parks and Recreation shall be governed by a Parks Board consisting of two members appointed by the Mayor and two ex officio members, one each from the governing boards of Community School Corporation and the Public Library, in accordance with I.C. 36-10-3-4(b).

§ 93.02 RECREATIONAL USE OF MISSISSINEWA RIVER.
   (A)   No person shall ride in or on boats, rafts or other flotation devices on the Mississinewa River between the Highland Avenue Bridge and the Charles Mill Dam in the city, unless engaged in rescue or other emergency operations.
   (B)   Any person who violates this section shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and, upon conviction, shall be fined as determined by § 10.99 for each offense.
