   1109.04 SUBDIVISION NAME.
   The subdivision name shall not duplicate or be confusing with any existing subdivision names in Richland County, or any previously planned subdivision under consideration by the Planning Commission.

   1109.05 STREET NAME.
   Names of new streets shall not duplicate existing dedicated streets. New streets which are extensions of or in alignment with existing streets shall bear the name of the existing streets. Subject to the foregoing all new streets shall be named in the following manner:
 
General Direction
Long
Short*
North and south
Streets
Places
East and west
Avenues
Courts
Diagonal
Roads
Ways
Curving
Drives
Circles
   *Less than 1,000 feet.

   1109.06 LOT AND BLOCK NUMBERING.
   All lots shall be numbered by progressive numbers, or if the subdivision is divided into lettered or numbered blocks, the lots shall be progressively numbered.

   1109.07 RESERVES.
   (a)    Each reserve established with a subdivision shall be so designated as to indicate future use.
   (b)    Reserve strips controlling access to streets shall be prohibited except where reasonable and proper easements have been given to the County or the City.
   (c)    No reserve shall be permitted which will interfere with or disrupt the continuity or platting of adjacent property or limit access to public facilities.

   1109.08 EASEMENTS.
   Easements shall have a minimum width of eight feet on the rear of each lot or such additional width as may be required for necessary access to the utility involved. A two-foot easement shall be required on each side of an alley to accommodate pole lines. Easements shall be located along rear lot lines or along alleys except under special circumstances where they may be required in other locations. For lots facing curvilinear streets, the rear easement should consist of straight lines with a minimum of points of deflection.
