739.02 LICENSE REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS.
Every person desiring to operate or maintain a place of public entertainment as defined in Section 739.01, shall obtain a license before engaging in such business and shall pay therefor the annual license fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Provided, however, that no license or license fee shall be required of any such establishment not operated for profit which is owned and controlled by public school or college or by the City or County or by the State of Ohio or by a private club exclusively for the use of its members.
