The Town Council does hereby create a City-County Planning Board. (Res. 265, 10-4-1977)

2-1-2: AUTHORITY:

The Town Council does hereby delegate to the City-County Planning Board the responsibility to accept applications for subdivision approval, advertise and conduct public hearings on preliminary plats, and submit, in writing, its recommendations to the Town Council to approve, conditionally approve, or deny a subdivision proposal reviewed under the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act 1 . 2-1-3: STAFF PLANNER:

   A.   Definition: "Staff Planner" shall be defined as a planning person hired by the Town or the County, whichever is pertinent at the time.

   B.   Duties:

      1.   Advice: The Staff Planner shall advise the Town Council if subdivision plats meet all State and local requirements.

      2.   Technical Assistance: The Staff Planner will also provide technical assistance to the City-County Planning Board and the Town Council regarding all aspects of the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act. (Ord. 236, 12-3-1996)
