§ 152.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   (a)   If any person assists in building or builds any sidewalks where no grade has been established without first obtaining a grade therefor from the Street Commissioner, or contrary to any grade which may have been established by the City Council, or contrary to any of the provisions of §§ 152.015 through 152.020 of this chapter, he or she shall in such case be subject to a penalty of $10 for every offense, and to a like penalty for every day he or she fails to remove or reconstruct the same.

         (b)   The penalty for the violation of any of the provisions of §§ 152.015 through 152.020 of this chapter, when the same is not specifically mentioned, shall be not less than $10, nor more than $50, for each offense.

      (2)   Every person failing to comply with the requirements of § 152.019 of this chapter shall be guilty of committing a nuisance and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $5, nor more than $50, and after having been notified by the Chief of Police to remove the same, and failing to do so within a reasonable time thereafter, such person so offending shall be guilty of a separate offense for each 24 hours the same remains so unremoved, and subject to a like penalty as provided in this division (B)(2) for each separate violation.

      (3)   Any person or persons guilty of violating any of the provisions of § 152.020 of this chapter shall be fined in any sum not less than $10, nor more than $50, and the costs of prosecution.

   (C)   Violations of §§ 152.035 through 152.046 of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $100 or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period of not exceeding 50 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.

   (D)   Any person violating any of the provisions of §§ 152.075 through 152.077 of this chapter shall, upon conviction before a court of competent jurisdiction, be guilty of an offense, and shall be subject to the general penalty provisions of this code and applicable state law as may be appropriate.
