IC 36-7-9-1 through 36-7-9-28 is adopted by reference as the City Unsafe Building Law. All proceedings within the city for the in-spection, repair, and removal of unsafe buildings shall be governed by such Law and the provisions of this chapter. Pursuant to IC 36-7-9-3, the definition of "substantial property interest" contained in IC 36-7-9-2 is specifically adopted by reference. In the event the provisions of this chapter conflict with the provisions of IC 36-7-9-1 through 36-7-9-28, then the provisions of the state statutes shall control.
