A. Police Records: The chief of police shall be and is hereby designated as "custodian", as defined in Wyoming Statutes section 16-4-201, of all police records except personnel records, and shall be charged with the keeping of the records according to the standards which may be set for by the Wyoming state archives. Such standards shall include, but are not limited to, keeping the records in a secured, fire safe, water safe and climate controlled environment and for the storage of historical records in acid free containers.
B. Personnel Records: The town clerk, as "official custodian" shall maintain all personnel records for all employees of the town, including police personnel, according to the standards set by the Wyoming state archives. (Ord. 14-00, 11-16-2000)
