GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 38.01 ESTABLISHMENT.

   A fire department is hereby established in the city to be known as the Ludlow Fire Department.

§ 38.02 FIRE CHIEF.

   (A)   The position of Fire Chief is hereby established.

   (B)   Appointment to the position of Fire Chief shall be made by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.

      (C)   The Fire Chief shall be second in command to the Mayor of the Fire Department.

      (D)   The Fire Chief shall attend all sessions of the City Council, unless excused by the Mayor.
