702.07 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
   The use of alcoholic beverages prior to or during the firing of firearms at a firing range shall be prohibited. (Ord. 3015. Passed 8-18-99.)
702.08 MINORS.
   No person under the age of sixteen years of age shall use firearms at a firing range unless under the direct supervision of a parent or qualified instructor.

702.09 IDENTIFICATION.
   Each gun club shall be responsible for providing gun club members and its guests and all other individuals using the firing range with proper identification which shall be exhibited to proper authorities upon request.

702.10 PERMIT; FEE.
   The Chief of the Police Department of the Village shall issue to the owner or operator of the presently existing firing ranges, whose ranges comply with the safety standards of the National Skeet Shooting Association, the Amateur Trap Shooting Association, and the National Rifle Association and with the safety standards set forth in this chapter, a permit to operate ranges. Permits shall be automatically renewable at the end of each calendar year and the charge for each such permit shall be one dollar ($1.00). The Chief of Police may revoke the permit at any time if he finds that the firing range is being operated contrary to the provisions of this chapter and the safety standards hereinbefore set forth.

702.11 NUISANCE.
   Any firing range operated contrary to any provision of this chapter is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and violative of the public health, safety and welfare.

702.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever operates a firing range or fires a firearm at a firing range in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter will be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
