2.68.020   Established.
   There hereby is established a Department of Emergency Management, in accordance with Section 12-10-5, NMSA 1978 (1998 Repl. Pamph.) which shall consist of:
      1.   A coordinator of emergency management who shall be appointed by the city manager and subject to approval by the director of the emergency management division of the state.
      2.   Such additional professional and administrative staff personnel as may be required to effectively carry out the emergency management program.
      3.   All other city officers and employees, together with these volunteer forces enrolled to aid them during periods of emergency, shall be considered as part of the emergency management organization of the city. (Ord. 451 (part), 2003)
