Failure, refusal or neglect on the part of the property owner, his agent or any person held responsible under the provisions of this chapter to repair or cause to be repaired such defective sidewalk, as required by the building inspector, shall be considered a violation of this chapter; and it shall be the duty of the building inspector to cause the arrest of such person by filing a complaint sworn to before the municipal judge of the city. Each day's failure, refusal or neglect to repair or cause to be repaired such defective sidewalk shall be considered a separate offense. (Prior code § 4-4-20)
