2.44.080   Equipment-Private use prohibited without consent
   No person having charge of any hose, fire truck or other fire apparatus shall suffer the same to be applied to private use without the consent of the city commission and the fire chief and he shall be personally liable in addition thereto for any injuries thereby caused to such apparatus.
