All city employees are prohibited from accepting gifts or other considerations from vendors given with the intent of modifying the employees' performance of duties or encouraging the employees to make purchases from the vendor involved. Employees shall maintain the highest moral standards and any attempt to influence an employee's performance by a vendor or other person shall be reported to the department head. (Ord. 435 § 9.14,2001)
