An employee who tests positive on a drug test may elect to have, at the employee's expense, a retest of the original sample, provided the request is made in writing within twenty-four hours of the employee receiving notice of a positive test result. The city shall pay for the retest only if the retest is negative. (Ord. 435 § 6.10, 2001)
