2.92.270   Conflicts.
   A.   Conflict Ban. No employee shall engage in any business or transaction or accept private employment or other public employment which is incompatible with the proper discharge of the employee's responsibilities for the city or which gives the appearance of impropriety.
   B.   Outside Employment. All full-time employees must advise the city manager in writing of any outside employment in which they are engaged. All full-time employees must obtain the permission of the city manager to engage in outside employment. Upon the request of the city manager, no employee shall continue in outside employment if such employment has a negative impact on the employee's job performance, creates liability for the city, or appears to be a conflict of interest.
