A. Full-time Classified Employee. A full-time classified employee is one who has completed the probationary period and who normally is scheduled to work forty hours per week, except firefighters. A full-time classified employee is eligible for all rights and benefits provided by the city.
B. Part-time Classified Employee. A part-time classified employee is an employee who has completed the probationary period, who regularly works a minimum of twenty hours per week, but less than forty hours. Part-time classified employees do not accrue vacation or comp time. Part-time classified employees may accrue sick leave and holiday pay. Part-time classified employees who work a minimum of thirty hours per week are eligible for insurance benefits. (Ord. 567 (part), 2019: Ord. 435 § 3.1,2001)
