Definite rules and regulations cannot be readily formulated for every possible problem and situation. This chapter serves as a general basis and guide for the proper, efficient, and effective administration of personnel matters for the city. The ordinance codified in this chapter repeals and supersedes the ordinance dated 1975 and all personnel rules and regulations applicable to employees of the city, including, but not limited, to the City of Lovington Personnel Regulations effective September 1, 1986, and all its amendments.
