ARTICLE 1 CREATION OF THE DEPARTMENT

22.1   Creation of the Department.

Sec. 22.1. Creation of the Department.

   There is hereby created a department within the government of the City to be known as the Department of Animal Services, hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the “Department”.

ARTICLE 2 CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT

22.4   Board of Commissioners.

22.5   Appointment and Removal of the General Manager.

Sec. 22.4. Board of Commissioners.

   There shall be a Board of Animal Services Commissioners who shall be appointed, removed, and organized in accordance with Charter Sections 501-503. The Department shall be under the control and management of the Board.
