232.01 COMPOSITION OF OFFICE.

   The office of the Director of Law shall be composed of the Director and such other employees as Council may designate or authorize from time to time or as are set forth in the current compensation or salary ordinance.

232.02 ASSISTANTS.

   (a)   The Director of Law may employ assistants from time to time to carry out his or her powers and duties when he or she is not available.

   (b)   Such assistants shall be compensated from the existing budget of the Director.

   (c)   The Director shall file the name of any person acting in the name of any person acting in the capacity of an Assistant Director of Law with the City Auditor and the Clerk of Council.

   (d)   Any person so designated as an Assistant Director of Law shall be subject to the approval of Council.
