Upon approval by the Planning Commission and City Council, a planned unit development district may be applied to any residential district. Upon approval of a final development plan, the official zoning map shall be annotated for the land area involved so that the district name includes the notation, "P" before the appropriate residential district symbol. Planned unit development districts shall be approved by the Planning Commission and City Council in the manner provided in §§ 157.267 to 157.282 of this chapter.
