Because of the special characteristics of planned unit developments, special provisions governing the development of land for this purpose are required. Whenever there is a conflict or difference between the provisions of §§ 157.257 to 157.284 and those of the other sections of this chapter, the provisions of these sections shall prevail. Subjects not covered by these sections shall be governed by the respective provisions found elsewhere in this chapter.
