§ 92.55 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   The civil and criminal provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by employees of the village and/or other persons authorized by the Police Department. This chapter may be enforced by citation or civil forfeiture.
   (B)   The village personnel or other persons authorized by the Police Department are authorized to catch and impound animals at large with such authorization to include the pursuit of animals upon non-animal owner private property. It shall be a violation of this chapter to interfere with the animal control officer, law enforcement officer, trained individual or village employee in the performance of their duties.

§ 92.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever does not obtain a dog license as required by § 92.10 is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $500.
   (B)   Whoever does not obtain a rabies vaccination as required by § 92.11 is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $500.
   (C)   Whoever violates § 92.12, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $100 for the first offense and not more than $200 for the second and subsequent offenses.
   (D)   Whoever violates § 92.13, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200.
   (E)   Whoever violates § 92.14, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200.
   (F)   Whoever violates § 92.20, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200.
   (G)   Whoever violates § 92.21, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $500 and subsequent violations per Wis. Stats. § 951.18.
   (H)   Whoever violates § 92.22, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $1,000.
   (I)   If the owner or keeper of livestock knowingly permits livestock to run at large on a highway in violation of § 92.23 and after notice by any peace officer fails to remove the livestock from the highway, the owner or keeper may be fined not more than $200.
   (J)   Whoever violates § 92.24, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day on which a violation of this section occurs or continues.
   (K)   Whoever violates § 92.25, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $200.
   (L)   Whoever violates § 92.40, negligently or otherwise, is subject to a forfeiture of not more than $1000. Any person who violates § 92.40(I) shall forfeit not more than $10,000, plus the cost of prosecution for each violation. Any person who is in default of the payment of forfeitures or costs imposed hereunder, unless found indigent by a court of competent jurisdiction, shall be imprisoned in the county jail for up to 90 days for each violation or until payment has been made.
   (M)   Any person who fails to register a wolf/dog hybrid or fails to post signage as required by this subchapter shall be subject to a forfeiture of not more than $1000.
