(A) All properties in the county shall be assigned a numbered address, in order to provide adequate and prompt fire, police and emergency medical services to the residences of the county. It is necessary for all such emergency personnel to readily identify residential, commercial and industrial structures by the assigned street number at all times during the day and night.
(B) The purpose of this chapter is to provide a uniform system of street naming and addressing throughout the county and to remove conditions causing difficulty in locating properties and buildings.
