Sec. 16-6.2. - [Pickup of small animal carcasses at veterinarian offices; roll-off refuse containers available to residents upon request; fees.]
(a)   The division of waste management will pick up carcasses of small animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, or other typical household pets at the offices of veterinarians located in the division of waste management refuse collection service area. Such pickups will be scheduled by the division upon request. The fee for each pickup shall be forty-five dollars ($45.00) with a maximum of five (5) animals per pickup.
(b)   The division of waste management will provide a ten-cubic yard size "roll off" refuse collection container upon request for properties within the urban services boundary. The fee for the container shall be ninety dollars ($90.00) per weekday. The fee shall be adjusted each year on July 1 to account for changes in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) as reported by the U.S. Department of Labor. Notice of the adjusted fee shall be provided by publication of the adjusted fee on the urban county government's website.
