The election of all elected officers of the Merged Government specified in Articles Four and Five of this Charter shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of odd numbered years. Pursuant to the provisions of Article Four, all Council members to be elected from districts shall be elected only by the qualified voters in each district. All other officers shall be elected by the qualified voters of the Urban County. All officers shall be elected by a majority vote.
The election of all officers specified in Article Eleven of this Charter shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November pursuant to the provisions of Sections 97 and 99 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Annotation—The year in which elections for the officers of the Urban County Government are held was changed to even numbered years, pursuant to an amendment to the Kentucky Constitution proposed by Ky. Acts Ch. 168 and ratified by the voters on November 3, 1992.
