Sec. 14-39. - Minors obtaining alcoholic beverages.
(a)   Except as provided in KRS 244.085, it shall be unlawful for any person under twenty-one (21) years of age to enter any premises licensed for the sale of alcoholic beverages including, in the case of drive-in establishments, the entire lot upon which the business establishment is situated, for the purpose of purchasing, receiving, or having served or delivered to him any alcoholic beverage.
(b)   It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to possess for his own use, or to purchase or attempt to purchase or have another purchase for him any alcoholic beverage.
(c)   It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to misrepresent his age for the purpose of purchasing or attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages or inducing any retail licensee or any employee of any retail licensee to sell, serve or deliver any alcoholic beverage to him.
(d)   It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-one (21) years to use or attempt to use any false, fraudulent or altered identification card or document to purchase or attempt to purchase or otherwise to obtain any alcoholic beverage.
(e)   It shall be unlawful for any parent or guardian knowingly to permit any minor of which he may have the legal custody to violate any of the provisions of this section.
(f)   Nothing contained in this section shall excuse or relieve the owner, proprietor, employee or person in charge of any licensed premises in the urban county where alcoholic beverages are sold from the restrictions, requirements and penalties of any other ordinance of the urban county government or statute of the state relating to violations pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
(g)   Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense. Each purchase, sale or delivery and each attempt to purchase or have served or delivered shall be considered a separate offense for which a fine may be imposed.
