Nothing in this Charter shall be construed to alter or affect the election, term or compensation of the County Property Valuation Administrator. Nor shall any provision of this Charter be construed to affect or otherwise alter the powers and duties of said officer as prescribed by the Constitution and laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Said officer shall be the chief assessing officer of the Urban County Government and shall be recognized as an officer of said government having the same relationship to the Urban County Government as previously existed between the Property Valuation Administrator and the County of Fayette.
