The owner or his agent shall promptly notify all owners of all property abutting, adjacent to, or located within fifty (50) feet of the property line of any lot upon which any demolition or removal for which a permit is required by this article that an application for demolition or removal has been filed. Such notice shall include the nature of the work and the time frame during which such work may commence. Such notice shall be in writing and shall be furnished within twenty-four (24) hours of the filing of the application. Evidence that the notice required herein was furnished shall be provided by the owner or his agent to the division of building inspection.
