The roadways review committee shall consist of nine (9) members. Five (5) of the members shall be employees of the urban county government who hold the following positions and shall be appointed by the mayor:
(a) Park designer in the division of parks and recreation;
(b) Planning manager (transportation) in the division of planning;
(c) Code enforcement officer in the division of building inspection;
(d) Municipal engineer senior in the division of engineering;
(e) Attorney or attorney senior in the department of law.
Of the remaining four (4) members, one (1) shall be a member of the historic preservation commission established pursuant to article 13 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and selected in a manner deemed appropriate by the commission and consistent with their duly enacted bylaws. The other three (3) members shall be residents of the county appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the urban county council, for a term not to exceed four (4) years.
