(a) It is the policy of the urban county government to ensure that its employment practices guarantee equal opportunity to all employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age forty (40) and above.
(b) It is the policy of the urban county government to require that contractors with and suppliers to the urban county government ensure equal employment opportunity to their employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age forty (40) and above.
(c) The affirmative action plan, calendar year 1989, as it exists on October 20, 1988, is hereby adopted, and incorporated herein by reference, as the instrument by which the above polices shall be implemented, monitored and enforced. A true copy of said affirmative action plan shall be lodged in the office of the clerk of the urban county council for inspection by the public.
