Any member of the division of fire and emergency services or division of police may be dismissed for any of the following causes:
(1) Being intoxicated whether on or off duty.
(2) Drinking intoxicating liquor while on duty or while he has on any part of his uniform.
(3) Insubordination or disrespect to a superior officer.
(4) Loitering in a saloon while on duty.
(5) Conviction in any court of a felony.
(6) Being active in politics or working for the election of candidates while on duty or in uniform.
(7) If his salary is garnished three (3) times for just debts contracted during his employment by the urban county government.
(8) Cowardice, inefficiency or neglect in the performance of duty or disobedience of proper orders of a superior.
(9) Such mental or physical incapacity or disability as renders him incapable of properly performing his duties.
(10) Abandonment or failure to support his family.
(11) Any immoral habits or improper conduct not herein enumerated which would render him an unfit and improper person for employment by the urban county government.
(12) Any other reason permitted by KRS 95.450.
