Sec. 17-38.1. - Telephone booths on streets—Permit required; application therefor.
(a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, locate or construct any telephone booth on any street or other public place without obtaining a permit therefor from the mayor.
(b)   An application for a permit for a telephone booth as required by this section shall be made upon such forms as the mayor shall provide and shall contain the name and address of the person making the application and the proposed location of the telephone booth. The applicant therein named shall indemnify and save the urban county government harmless against all liabilities, judgments, costs, damages and expenses which may in any way come against or accrue against, or be charged to or be recovered from the urban county government for or on account of any act or thing done by the applicant by virtue of the authority given in such permit. The applicant shall faithfully keep all conditions and provisions of this and the following sections; and such permit shall be accepted by the applicant subject to the conditions and provisions of such sections, and subject to the laws and ordinances affecting such telephone booths now or hereafter, in effect. Such application shall be signed by the applicant.
