Gasoline filling stations, gasoline pumps and other automotive services which are suffered or permitted to be operated on the sidewalks or at the curb are hereby declared a nuisance; and each of such filling stations, gasoline pumps and other automotive service shall be removed upon the change of ownership thereof. No gasoline tank or receptacle under the sidewalk used for commercial sales of gasoline or other automotive service shall be repaired or replaced, and no existing pump on a sidewalk or curb shall be replaced.
Any person violating this section shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00), and each day's continuance shall be a separate offense.
