(A) Parking on or using motor vehicles to block sidewalks. It shall be unlawful for any person to park on or block by the use of a motor vehicle any sidewalk located in the town.

(B) Disabled parking spaces.
(1) It is the purpose of this division to protect the health and safety of physically disabled citizens, to insure an equal access to public facilities by designating and reserving “disabled only” parking spaces at or near public facilities and to provide for the enforcement of G.S. § 20-37.6 which makes it unlawful to park any vehicle in a space designated for physically disabled persons when the vehicle does not display the distinguishing license plate or placard provided by state law.
(2) “Disabled only” parking spaces may be designated on any publicly-owned or controlled street or property, including, but not limited to, streets, off-street parking lots, parks and recreation facilities.
(3) “Disabled only” parking spaces shall be clearly marked with signs in accordance with G.S. § 20-37.6.
(4) The following locations are hereby designated as “disabled only” parking spaces.

(5) Any person unlawfully parking a vehicle in a properly designated disabled only parking space shall be subject to a penalty in the amount of $10, to be recovered by the town. The violator shall be issued a written citation requiring payment to be made to the town within 72 hours.

(C) Parking prohibited during school hours. When signs are placed, erected or installed giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during each school day, from the opening to the closing of the public school year, upon the following streets.

(D) Parking limited to two hours.
(1) Parking shall be limited to two hours on the following streets.

(2) Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of this section shall upon conviction be guilty of a misdemeanor.

(F) Parking prohibited except for purpose of attending regular church services.
(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to park and leave standing any motor vehicle on the following streets at any time except for the purpose of attending regular church services.
