(a) All applicants for entry level uniformed positions for Fire must be at least 21 years of age at the time of appointment, and no person shall be eligible to receive an original appointment on and/or after the person’s 41st birthday.
(b) Subsection (a) hereof is specifically intended to supersede State Code provisions on the age of applicants for appointment to positions in the Fire Department.
