With the approval of the Chief of Police, members of the Division of Police may take accredited college courses relating to law enforcement. Members shall be reimbursed full tuition expenses by the City provided that the member has first made application to the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration of the United States Department of Justice, for a direct grant and failed to receive same and that such member receives a grade of "C", or the equivalent, upon completion of each course for which reimbursement is requested.
