It is unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale any tire, for the use of any motor vehicle, into which any groove, other than the original grooves made by the manufacturer thereof, is made by cutting, burning, or other means, unless the words “regrooved tire” are branded thereon in letters not letters than one inch in height.
