§ 71.111 LIMITATIONS ON U-TURNS.
   (A)   The driver of a vehicle shall not turn such vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction unless such movement can be made in safety and without interfering with other traffic and in no event at the locations listed in Ch. 77, Sch. X. For the purpose of this section, a U-turn shall include any maneuver which results in the automobile proceeding in a direction roughly opposite from its original direction unless such maneuver has taken it at least ten feet off any roadway.
   (B)   No vehicle shall be turned so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any curve, or upon the approach to or near the crest of a grade, where such vehicle cannot be seen by the driver of any vehicle approaching from either direction within 500 feet.
   (C)   Limitations on turning around: the driver of any vehicle shall not turn such vehicle to the left upon any street in the business district for the purpose of proceeding in the opposite direction or for the purpose of parking along a curb or to angle park when such movement must be made across a solid yellow line when said line is in the driver’s lane of traffic and shall not upon any other street so turn a vehicle unless such movement can be made in safety and without interfering with other traffic.
