175.01 ESTABLISHED.

   (a)   The Cities of Kent, Ravenna, Streetsboro, and Aurora; the Townships of Franklin and Ravenna; the Village of Brady Lake, and County of Portage hereby join in creating a regional transportation authority pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 306.30 et seq. of the Ohio Revised Code, whose boundaries shall be coextensive with the territorial boundaries of Portae County. 175.02 PURPOSE.

   It is necessary to create such transportation authority to promote the welfare of the residents of these communities and to provide the administrative capability to improve and extend this service in the future. (Ord. 2006-124. Passed 11-01-06.)
