1446.03 APPLICATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS.
   (a)   Applications for examinations must be filed with the Board of Health.
   (b)   The applicant must state, in his or her own writing and over his or her own signature, his or her full name and place of residence, and, if a member of a firm, company or corporation, the name, style or title of the same, the title of any office held in such firm, company or corporation, and its place of business. If the applicant is a journeyman, he or she must also give the name and place of business of his or her employer.

1446.04 METHOD OF EXAMINATION.
   Examinations shall consist of a practical demonstration, or written answers to not less than fifty printed or typewritten questions, and written replies to questions asked orally regarding cuts or drawings made upon paper or a blackboard, which questions shall be of such character as to fairly test the fitness and qualifications of the applicant to engage in the trade or business of plumbing. Applicants for a master plumbers certificate shall be examined in the higher branches of the profession.

1446.05 PASSING GRADE.
   The applicant must have a rating of at least seventy-five percent on his or her examination to entitle him or her to a license and certificate of competency.

1446.06 FALSIFICATION.
   Falsification or fraud in an application or examination shall be cause for dismissal of the application and refusal of a license, and, if a license has already been granted, the same shall be forfeited together with all fees paid. An applicant having been subjected to such penalties may apply within one year from the date of forfeiture of the license, at the discretion of the Board of Plumbing Examiners.

1446.07 RE-EXAMINATIONS.
   If an applicant fails to pass the requisite examination, he or she may be re-examined at the next following meeting of the Board of Plumbing Examiners. If the applicant fails to pass this re-examination, or fails to appear at this meeting of the Board for re-examination, he or she shall not be re-examined until the expiration of one year from the last or second examination or the meeting of the Board at which the applicant failed to appear. At the expiration of this one-year period, he or she may be re-examined upon filing with the Board a new application, together with a receipt from the Finance Director showing that he or she has again paid the fee required by law.

1446.08 RECORDS OF PERSONS EXAMINED.
   The names and standings of all persons examined shall be formally entered on the records of the Department of Community and Economic Development.
