288.02 COMPOSITION OF ASSOCIATION; OFFICERS; LIABILITY OF CITY FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF MONEY.
   The Police Pension Fund Association shall consist of the Director/Chief of Police, the Sergeants of Police, the Captain of Detectives, the Detectives, the Lieutenants of Police and all patrolmen and other officers attached to the Department of Police. The Association shall elect a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Treasurer shall be required to give bond in double the amount of the moneys that may come into his or her possession.
   The City shall not be liable for the proper application of any moneys after the same have been received by the Treasurer of the Association or for the payment of any sum of money, except as specified in this chapter.
