The ETSB shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Chairperson of the County Board, with the advice and consent of the County Board; one (1) of whom must be a public member who is a resident of the local exchange service territory included in the 9-1-1 coverage area; one (1) of whom (in counties with a population less than 100,000) must be a member of the County Board; and at least three (3) of whom shall be representative of the 9-1-1 public safety agencies, including, but not limited to, police departments, fire departments, emergency medical service providers and emergency services and disaster agencies, and appointed on the basis of their ability or experience. The two (2) remaining members shall be representative of public members, and/or 9-1-1 public safety agencies. The County Board Chairperson shall designate the member of the ETSB who shall serve as Chairperson of the ETSB. (Ord. 2012-5, 3-13-2012)
