8-1A-1: TITLE:

This title shall be known and may be cited as the ZONING ORDINANCE OF JO DAVIESS COUNTY, ILLINOIS, although it may be referred to hereafter as the "zoning ordinance", or "this title". (Ord. 2009-3, 5-12-2009)

8-1A-2: AUTHORITY:

This zoning ordinance is enacted pursuant to the powers granted and limitations imposed by the constitution and laws of the state of Illinois, including, but not limited to, the statutory authority granted in 55 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/5-12001 et seq., and all modifications and amendments thereto.
