§ 154.152 REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   A preliminary and final landscape plan of all proposed landscaping shall be submitted pursuant to § 154.036(B)(4)(g) and 154.037(B)(9).
   (B)   Location considerations.
      (1)   Open area. In those areas of the right-of-way where no growth exists, trees and bushes shall be planted in or adjacent to the right-of-way no closer than 15 feet to the paved edge of the road. At inter-sections, plantings exceeding three feet at mature height shall not be planted within 50 feet of the point of intersection of the two street lines. In no case should any proposed landscaping be located in an area that creates dangerous vehicular site distances around curves or at intersections.
      (2)   Outside of the right-of-way. In areas outside of the right-of-way where trees have been destroyed during the development process, replacement trees may be planted to preserve the natural atmosphere of the village.
   (C)   Other considerations.
      (1)   Bushes and trees utilized in the landscaping plan shall be selected from the village-approved listing of landscape materials on file with the City Manager.
      (2)   All plantings, where possible, shall be furnished balled, burlapped, or container grown.
      (3)   Tree sizes shall not be less than three inches in diameter as measured at a point 12 inches above natural ground. Bushes shall have a minimum height of 24 inches above natural ground.
