135.01 PROSECUTOR; APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES.

The Mayor may appoint a Prosecutor for the City subject to the approval of the majority of the members elected to Council. The Prosecutor shall perform the duties of a prosecutor in the Mayor's Court and in the Garfield Heights Municipal Court in cases arising in the City and shall serve as advisor to the members of the Police Department. Such services shall be performed under the supervision of the Law Director.
