1366.01 APPLICABILITY; RENTAL REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

(a) On and after January 1, 2017, and annually thereafter, no owner of a residential property located within the City shall lease any single family dwelling for any form of consideration unless the owner first registers the residential property with the City Building Department.

(b) The term “owner” shall be the person or entity identified as the property owner on the deed that is filed with the County Recorder’s Office.
