193.012 PURPOSES OF TAX; RATE.

(A) To provide funds for the purposes of general municipal function of the City of Independence, as determined by Council in accordance with law, there shall be and hereby is levied a tax on all income subject to municipal taxation under ORC Chapter 718 as hereinafter provided.

(B) The annual tax for the purposes specified in this Section 193.012 is imposed at the rate of two percent per year, but not to exceed the maximum rate permitted by the Charter of the City of Independence. (Ord. 2015-20. Passed 9-8-15.)
