674.06 UNCLAIMED ANIMALS.

Animals which have not been claimed and redeemed within the time periods established in Section 674.05 hereof may be offered for adoption to any interested person who agrees to enter into an adoption agreement with the City of Independence on a first come/first serve basis with applicable adoption fees and restrictions, or may be transferred to either of the Animal Protective League, Cuyahoga County Kennels or any other humane society or breed rescue league by the Animal Control Officer.
